"In the Army Now" is a song by the South African-born Dutch duo Rob and Ferdi Bolland, recorded in 1981. The song spent 6 consecutive weeks on the top of the Norwegian singles chart.〔 The song was also later recorded by the British rock band Status Quo on their 1986 album, ''In the Army Now'', and their version peaked at number 2 in the UK Singles Chart. ==Other cover versions== Slovenian industrial band Laibach recorded a cover-version for their war-themed ''NATO'' album in 1994. In 2009, Les Enfoirés covered the song under the title "Ici Les Enfoirés", using the same tune, but changing the lyrics to ones in the French language (about the 25th anniversary of the Restos du Coeur, instead of the original topic). A German-language version was released by the band ''Fee'' in 1987, titled ''Du mußt zur Bundeswehr''.〔(【引用サイトリンク】url= http://www.the-makers-of.info/ )〕 The song was also performed by Russian rock band Lubeh (Любэ). On 26 September 2010, Status Quo released a new version of "In the Army Now" with the Corps Of Army Choir through Universal/UMC. All profits from this updated and lyrically changed version will be donated equally to the British Forces Foundation and Help for Heroes charities. This charted at no. 31 in the UK Singles charts upon its release. In 2012, power metal band Sabaton covered this song as a bonus track for their album ''Carolus Rex''. 抄文引用元・出典: フリー百科事典『 ウィキペディア(Wikipedia)』 ■ウィキペディアで「In the Army Now (song)」の詳細全文を読む スポンサード リンク
